toys from every day things!!!

as the title says lol i'd love to know what everyday things are safe an canbe used as toys for our lovely feathered destroyers!

so far on my list is

corks from wine bottles (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE ARTIFICIAL CORKS that are in some wines) that i soak in boiling water 1st

coins, though hubs keeps pinching them for parking meters!!!

un-used wooden coffee stirrers (that i hoard from places like star bucks :30 also soaked in boiling water 1st

old bits of leather that i wash our cut into stipes for ties etc

so any other items would be great! grrr she's just taken wheel off my mouse!!!!:11:

I buy boxes of plastic straws just for the birdies.

Uber-generic toilet paper. Max just loves it. I get 6 rolls for <$1

Whisk booms. Jade loves these, but pulls them down because she likes to unhook things better

We have lids from water bottles, clothes pins, wine corks too. Merlins favorite toys are easter eggs & baby keys. Just about anything that he can hold in his claw, we turn to foot toys.

Ditto on the plastic easter eggs. Straws not so much. Small paper cups, small paper boxes are liked. I usually will cut up cardboard boxes into squares and string them on a leather tether. Good thread.

Yes they do! He loves to chew on the keyboard AND I have 32 piercings... He loves to pick at every single one of them, OUCH!

Ahahahahah! Oh my god that made me laugh... Apparantly yes! Lol! Thing is that all of them are on my face and ears oh and one on my nape (back of the neck, microdermal anchor) He has pulled on my anchor a couple of times and eek was that painful. I have to remove the gem from it now, lol! Or hide it with my hair.

My goffin got ahold of my nape once, mine isn't an anchor though, it's a PTFE surface piercing, luckily she didn't rip it out but I was really worried for a minute! Luckily, ziggy has ignored all of mine so far but I still don't trust her too close to my face! My bf actually had the one side to his Industrial bitten out by our too, not a pretty sight...

Oh my god OUCH! *cringe* I cannot even imagine that... Good thing is that Apple isn't a larger bird. He did latch onto my labret and proceeded to nibble on it but didn't pull, lol! I had been thinking of getting more piercings but I think i'm old now and it's time to stop (not really, lol!). Or atleast for a while.
