Everything I have read says that eclectus are sensitive to food dyes. So, if you shouldn't feed food with dyes, should you give the toys where the wood has obviously been dyed to create bright colors? My eclectus loves to shred wood and now my concern is she consuming some of the dye from the wood as she shreds it. Should I remove those toys and replace with organic or am I just be a worry wart?

If your Parrot is in fact eating (ingesting) the wood that would be a serious problem, from several vantage points. More likely you're Eclectus doing what my Amazon does; "makes big pieces into tiny pieces." And, since Parrots have a dry mouth, very unlikely that any food coloring is transferring at all. So, long way of getting around to saying: Nothing here to worry about!!
