toys for diamond doves!

Anyone got any suggestions for toys for diamond doves? i rerange their house once a month (somes 2x a month) to try and make them not bored, but they still seem bored! they love sitting on their carrier box on the floor of their cage, and they like the perches i put in there

My Diamond Doves loved taking a sand bath! We just used a glass pie plate and put in some sand like is used for sandboxes. They had a ball playing in it

Do diamond doves play with bird toys? I've never had anything but hookbills and didn't think other kinds of birds like canaries, finches and doves played with toys.

They must have to have some sort of enrichment or else they would be bored all the time. But I think normal pigeons and finches like loud bells and loud toys. And plastic balls or smth though they are deffo not as active as hookbills in terms of play,

I believe they prefer foraging toys and most probably won't use shredding toys I think. I don't think diamond doves like loud toys tho. So yea maybe they don't like the stereotypical "bird toys" but I'm counting a foraging box and a dust bath as a type of toy heheheh
