Today's Project

Birdie has two hanging play gyms on the screened porch in addition to her playstand with feed cups. The hanging gyms are great fun for a flighted bird. The project today is bringing the ladder to the porch and taking down the gyms foe cleaning and removing old, mostly destroyed toys because I've ordered some new ones for Birdie Brain. Big project for me because I'm so lazy! Lots of the hanging links for toys are rusted and I need to get them off as well. I've ordered all new stainless pear links too. Okay, off I go!

Okay, now the hard part is done. Removed all the rusty toy links and all toys. Some I can use again...some not. Scrubbed the two gyms clean with white vinegar and water and hosed them down. They're drying in the sun. Birdie had a great time helping me with all this. Now the fun part. When they're dry, I will decorate with a few old toys I saved and all new plastic chain. Can't wait for new toys and bread mix I got for the Birdie Brain.
