Today is Tico day

Mr Sass got to spend the whole day out on his playground today because I totally tore apart his cage and scrubbed it down. I washed all his plastic toys, scrubbed his ladder and perches. He got to spend some time at my desk with me trying to drag everything off my desk onto the floor, little stinker. Once I got everything clean, dry and put back together I offered him his bath. Oh he got all excited so I got him in the cage, hung the bath in the door...and he proceeded to drink his bathwater..silly bird. Mind you he had bowls of food and water on his playground.

Next I need to clean his playground again..although he does sort of poop on command, today I started putting squares of toilet tissue down and encouraging him to go on those. That would be nice if he could be "puppy pad" trained LOL.

My conure is always getting into everything on my desk, lol! She takes pens, my keys and even the furbuster thing for the cat. The house really belongs to her, ya know. I'm just nice enough to pay for it and clean it.

Con is sorta "puppy-pad" trained. She has one in her cage and under her rope perch by the window. She only seems to want to poop on the one outside her cage though.

Maybe she just doesn't want to mess where she spends the night? They are so darn smart.

-sigh- Lucy takes my pens apart.... and demands that I get them started for her... (the screw off stuff, I tighten them.. so she requires assistance...)
