Do macaws and greys get along? Im in debaite of picking up a macaw next year my TAG is arround 4.5 months old right now? Any advice would be great! Thanks guys

Depends on the bird.

My CAG and my Red Front were raised together and are best buds...

My Greenwing however, keeps my CAG on a short leash. My CAG is an instigator, and my Greenwing wants no part of her games. My Red Front grew up playing those games...

I think it depends on a bird. My female CAG is so jealous of everything and everyone coming near me, that I couldn't possibly think on getting another bird. My male CAG on the other hand doesn't care about me that much, I think he won't mind another parrot in the house.

See my big macs are way more jealous than my CAG is...

My CAG is actually even more independent than my amazons. Perhaps because he was raised from birth with amazons and macaws...

I don't really know a lot about macaws however the huge size difference would make me abit anxious as I guess if they didn't get on, one could inflict a lot of damage. having said this I guess it's about introducing them correctly and knowing what your doing.

My Timneh June gets pretty jealous of my mustached parakeet Joe Joe of my dogs and kids lol but another bird might be ok since yours is still a baby but i would hesitate on a macaw because TAGs are pretty small birds if you want another bird try to get something closer in size
