Timne lost all flight feathers in 24 hrs???

I dont think there is one, and like what some of the article mentions as did you above, I think the feathers in certain areas are just more easily detatched, not released, for this reason. A "release", like I mentioned in the first podt, or molt of all flight feathers would turn them into somethings next meal, and not make sense in terms of nature like you said. Regardless, a vet check is definitely called for.
