My name is Ellen. On December 2024, which was about two month ago, my Indian Ringneck flew out the back door of my house. The first two weeks been I looked around my neighborhood calling for him. Must has walked for miles and miles. Thought I heard him for a couple of times at the beginning, but not any more. I put his cage out in the backyard and played YouTube videos of Indian Ringnecks. I put some flyers on phone pols six block in either direction from where he got lost. No luck. It rained real hard for a couple of days, and the flyers got ruined. I put plastic sheet protectors on the flyers, but it did not help them from getting unreadable. I was thinking of putting up replacement flyers up in the same places where the old flyers are posted. I would better protect the flyers so they won't get wet. Do you think it is a waste of time to put up new flyers since its been 2 months since Timmy went missing? Do you think it will help if I did this?

I agree, dont give up! In fact be more creative, posting in pet stores, vets, supermarkets, churches, and any other place you can think of!

Have you checked out www.parrotalert.com for "found" birds yet? Timmy may have been taken in by someone and could be listed there. And you can make a listing there for him as a "lost" bird too, two months is not too long if someone else has been keeping him safe in the meantime. I hope you can get him back! 🙏🙏🙏
