Tiki died in my arms

So sorry, keeping Tiki's memory alive through a keepsake speaks volumes of your character. Know this, NO ONE could have asked for a better mother for Tiki than youself. The short life he experienced was undoubtedly, filled with more love and comfort than some of us humans will ever experience. It hurts because you tried everything humanly possible for him, and feel it shouldn't have ended this way.
Remember, there is a reason you ended up with him. You're a special person. When your time comes you will have him back, perfect condition. Whenever you think of him, he is checking in on you. He will never leave you.
I pray this comforts you.
Godspeed.

What was the final reason given for Tiki's passing?

I'll never know! The breeder I found (who actually bred Tiki, whose baby sister I bought) said that they are so hyper that he may have had internal bleeding (may explain the ongoing anemia?) which is just an off chance because they are pretty hardy though they can crash into everything. Just My luck...nah but it could have been cancer too even. It was clearly something terminal that was not showing up in any testing done. But I tried. At least I can say I tried. The vet said sometimes with all animals it can happen that an official diagnosis is never determined.

Just know his final thought of you was not a bad one, I am certain he felt the love and care you had or him, no disappointment. He is now amongst the rainbow of birds joyfully singing at the Rainbow bridge, and you will see him again some fine, distant day!

Yes in my other thread I wrote that an artist drew him flying into a rainbow and I thought of the rainbow bridge poem :)
