Well once again this morning I brought Bella upstairs while I got ready for work, she stayed on the shower curtain rod through my shower and she was talking and whistling and acting silly, she was very good and calm this morning, husband got home yesterday and opened her cage because again she would not get on his hand, he let her come out on her own. It was a little tricky getting her from top of her cage but we did and she did a little better yesterday with the husband. Anyone have any good ideas for treats amazons love because she is very funny about food, I don't want to give her just seeds, anything that she can eat quick so that I can start clicker/ target training!! GOOOD MORNING

Perhaps something like hazel nuts would work. They are better than peanuts, which a lot of birds love.

I'm very glad to hear she is happy!

I use slivered almonds as training treats for Kazi. He adores almonds more than anything else in the world. But I don't want to give him a whole one several times a day. I break the pieces into halves or thirds to use for training. But for bribery he gets an entire piece. That bird would probably walk across fire for an almond ;)

Thanks to all, I'm gonna go this weekend and get her some more treats, Hopefully I will find things she really likes. I like to get fruits but i cant buy to many because they will spoil. I know she likes bananas and she don't like prunes, not crazy about raisins either. Maybe try some blueberry's, Ive bought some bird treats from pet store but i don't thinks she likes those to much. I know she goes nuts over oatmeal she really enjoys that but i wait til the evening when I am relaxing to feed her because she is so messy...

My vet suggested to me that kiwi and mangoes were the best fruits for the S. American birds so I've been feeding mostly those to mine. They definitely love bananas as well.

I would break up the nuts, too. Amazons do have a tendency to become overweight and even though almonds and some other nuts have "good fat", it is still fat. You don't want her going to town on them, lol!
