She's a nice bird but my kids aren't spending time with her as I hoped and I'm finding a Panama isn't quite the companion that my Harlequin was, maybe because of not enough time invested. Does anyone know of someone in the Midwest looking for a young Panama?

I moved your thread to the Adoptions/Rehoming section for now. Depending on how much you are asking for her, it may have to be moved to the F/S section.

So sorry to hear this isn't working out. Pans are such awesome birds, too. :( Yes, you get out of them depending on what you put in, but that basically goes with any companion parrot.

I think I've decided she would be free to a good home if there's anyone looking for a Panama.

Where in the midwest. I'd love to take her.

Whoa, that's wayup in yankee land, lol. An area i don't normally travel in. I might have to go to Indiana in the near future. Don't i Have your number/ email somewhere?

You may have my number. Send me a PM if you can't find it. I work a few days a week in Chicago so could probably meet you a little closer.

I still need to break it to the kids but they're not spending the time they promised. I just don't have the time like I hoped and my new wife in a month doesn't like birds. I feel bad because im guilty of getting a bird being in a situation where we tell people not to get a bird.

I'll let you know when she lets me know...in the mean time if someone offers to take him ..go for it..might take my sister a few days to get back to me.

This thread went kind of quiet. Is there anyone out there that would like this nice and somewhat rare bird?

My sister says she can't right now her husband isn't working..where were you back in may I would have gladly taken him. Good luck in finding a new home..keep me posted please.

Wish I had time and space! I would take a second amazon in a heartbeat and shipping is not that bad. Food for thought for anyone..

Yes I would, but I believe Henpecked wants her. I'm trying to work out timing. I've had a little difficulty convincing my oldest to let her go. She loves him and has become a tiny bit aggressive towards me. Nothing serious but she nips my way even when I'm stuffing her toy with peanuts.

I would love to have her!! So if things fall thru just let me know!! Thank you and Good Luck!!!
