Potentially Have To Re-Home

I run it because I had a problem with mould- lots of condensation forms on my windows and it was creeping along the walls...

At the moment, with the dehumidifier running and my window open a little, the humidity in my bedroom(according to my sensor, anyway) is 42.4%. In Wales, it depends to get ridiculously humid... My town's average outside right now is 75%.

My plexiglass cages have built in four inch diameter ventilation fans that draw fresh air into them via 50 holes drilled in the sides and top. I put a piece of air purifier pre-filter pad over the exhaust exit to catch the bird dust on its way out. It acts to remove the bird dust before it reaches the room air and keeps the air inside the cage fresh for the birds.
what a wounderful idea did you by any chance draw or write out the plans when made it? could save many of us with lung issues from having to rehome our beloved birds!!
must be something we could think of so you dont have to rehome your birds ..... bf and i had a big fight when he said i had to get rid of my little bunny and then i had a big fight with my sister who came over and took her to her new home....i was NOT a happy camper and they knew it!!! didnt even give me time to work on a cage for her simular to what you mention here....i have a wood shop so know how to build and carve things to ake the look nice....

Pennzoni Display company manufactures and sells these Plexiglas cages I have 4 of them. They have a website. They primarily make acrylic display cases for sports memorabilia, museums and trade show displays but the owners have parrots so the make these wonderful cages. Look up their website.

It was my idea to catch the ventilation fan exit air on a pre-filter pad for my HEPA filter

ok i must have missed something can you expline catch the ventilation fan air on a pre filter pad for your hepa filer? or maybe i just forgot....quite possable

The ventilation fan is attached to the Plexiglas cage with four small screws that stick out the back of the cage. I take an eight inch square of pre-filter pad from my HEPA machines and punch four small holes corresponding to the locations of the screw ends and push the pad over the fan exit to catch the bird dust as it leaves the cage. I remove the pad once a week and vacuum off the white bird dust and put the pad back on. Works great. I have the 24x24x32 cages but I wish I had the 36x24x32(?)ones. They're expensive but very well made. Lots of predrilled holes in the top and sides to attach perches and toys. I also put ladders propped against the inside for the birds to climb along with rope covered climbing rings though plastic rings would work too. You need to be creative when furnishing and decorating since there are no bars. You could even get a large enough one and just put the entire conventional cage inside it to keep bird dust out of the room.
