Poppet. A Quaker.
How is it possible to love a noisy bundle of green feathers so much. I swear I could spend all day watching Poppet and listening to him learning to talk. He does the cutest little kissy noises now and mumbles away trying to talk. Just adorable. I got up this morning planning to do so much and so far have achieved nothing :)

Oh, how I miss my Quaker. :) I really miss how he loved to just hang out with me. My caique could care less, he just wants to play/wrestle with me and/or toys. Your baby is super cute!!! I'm jealous!

I completely agree with Copper...birds touch your heart/soul in a way NO other creature can. Birds can be many things...challenging, messy, and loud....definitely not for the average person for sure...but they give you so much more in return! Birds are truly awesome creatures, and I think its wonderful that some humans get the privilege of being owned by them ;)

It seems we are all obsessed then. Glad I'm not the only sufferer of feather fetish. :D

Haha awww. Yep you can say that again. When I got like 100 assignments to do, I am like yeah I am going to get it all done today, then I walk into my Bird room and I am like, nope, maybe tomorrow I ll get them done.

What an adorable baby! :) I know how you feel, I feel naked without at least one bird on me!

You can never get tired of listening and watching a bird

They are the most awesome "creatures" ever created

We are all possessed and it gets worse LoL

I sit for hours listening to Mishka talk, to me a bird talking is the 8th wonder of the world.

Carry on enjoying each a every moment because they are all precious

Oh he is too cute !!!! I see what you mean :)

awww whata cutie I really miss Opey our little quaker :(

I have found that not animals are the same, even if they are the same species. I currently have two Fischer lovebirds and two Pacific parrotlets, but I was way closer to my Nico who was a peach faced lovebird that just somehow got into me and I miss him still so much. We also have had dogs all my life, from when I was a child, mostly Pugs. I have 2 pug females right now - but the one that touched me most deeply was my beloved Minya who died 2 years ago, I can't explain the bond I had with her, it was so deep and just thinking about her right now and typing this I'm getting teared up. I know for SURE that animals are individuals and that every one of them has different capabilities and different strengths and weaknesses, and it's those things that somehow, and it just happens, it all clicks.

Can anybody guess where I got the name Minya?

awk!! im choking on my grin!! can anyone be so cute!! i showed this to my friend and she went like "that's Photoshopped, birds dont look that cute" and i say "DROP DEAD, CASEY" lol!! you have an extra adorable bird!
