Not peace and quiet
Not eating my fruit in peace
Not nonstick cookware (I got nonstick safe ceramic)

Candles.

My boss just got a magazine from yankee candle and I'm having candle withdrawal. I LOVE CANDLES. I am getting some serious candle fix in right now... I guess I could have one at work, but meh. Its not the same as soaking in a hot bath with a candle smell wafting about.

This is why i got a gardenia in my apartment window. I like good sniffs.

I'm going to miss candles so much :(

I'm sorry. I just needed to vent.

Hey, just train the MAC to flap those wings and the room with fill with that wonderful MAC scent. Not as great as Amazon scent, but still wonderful.

You will never look back!!!

Get an essential oil diffuser! Lots of fantastic "scent recipes" online to be made with essential oils.

OR, if you're cheap like me:) just get a dollar store spray bottle and a well rinsed GLASS vinegar bottle and make an essential oil 'room spray'. The dollar store spray bottle sprayer part will fit on the glass vinegar bottle. Glass bottle is necessary because the oils eat through the cheap plastic ones (learned that the hard way). It's like Febreze for parrot owners:D

I'm kind of partial to African grey and Cockatoo smell myself. Anyone else think they smell a lot like those frozen french toast sticks?

I've heard those are just as bad, to be honest. But I will probably use something sporadically in a closed room. I'm a very paranoid bird mom. Hopefully my paranoia will calm down a bit once I have the bird, just like paranoid parents after having the second kid.

@The bird huffers
Hahaha... I will be hopefully training her to spread her wings (I love them), sop I guess flapping wouldn't be to hard.

"You put your wings up, you put your wings down, you put your wings up and and you flap them all about, do the birdy pokey and your turn all the way around. //claps"

Oh lord I'm going insane...

Actually it appears Parrot Huffing is a thing. I wonder what she'll smell like. I like good sniffs.
