The Side Effects from ParrotForums....

I have come to realize this forum helps with parrotnoya because I feel as if I know some of the birds here which vicariously expands my flock!

Ditto!

The other thing that helps me is that I'm fortunate enough to have several stores within driving distance that allow me to endlessly play with whatever birds I desire. :32:

Now I know I do not suffer this alone! Is there a name for this affliction?

Parrotnoya?

Spot one Parrotnoya LoL

My guys have one ground rule for me

I am not
Allowed to go
Visit any breeders
And am forbidden
To go into pet shops

My guys keep reminding me.....
Imagine having another bird and the other bird spoke continuously like Mishka, it would drive them crazy
I WOULD LOVE IT ......

LOL. Double LOL. :D

I would love it, too. Could you imagine if Mishka and imaginary birdy #2 would actually converse with each other? Now THAT would be something! ;)

No, no...I'm not trying to be an evil enabler here. ;)

I WOULD BE LOVELY...... but I think I would eventually go mad
When I tell you Mishka talks non-stop ALL DAY LONG I AM NOT EXAGGERATING

I know how you feel. After recently adding my 4th bird to my flock I told my family no more birds for me. Today I came to a conclusion that I want a Blue Crown Conure and hopefully to my sanity this will be the last one. Birds are highly addictive but as long as we provide a healthly living for them and not go overboard then I guess its okay to follow your passion. I currently have a 12 week old baby Sun name Peaches so the blue crown will be somewhere later in 2013. I just like to plan ahead. For now I am planning to expand the playgym or I like to call it jungle gym for my current flock. The only time this passion becomes a mental illness is when you start hoarding then someone needs to put an end to the madness, lol. Peace.

When I first read this post, I thought to myself, yeah,,, the parrot forums have given me a thicker skin. I now understand and whole heartedly, agree with everyone that your love for birds, do expand!

I found a blue crown conure breeder! :D
NO!!! :11: No more!

Now are you 100% sure about this? LOL. Remember, you found a Blue Crown breeder....you may just want to give her a call. ;)

Don't tempt me! LOL If I do get another bird soon I'll be kicked out of my house with the clothes on my back and 4 birds on my shoulder! :p Naw I'm getting one when I'm 18. Yes, if I'm patient...

Usually when I go on pet forums they do make me want more(had betta fever for a while, I have mild symptoms of snake ever but I don't want anymore then my current 3)

With parrots want another bird one day but I have no desire for a second bird currently. Rosie is awesome but I can't afford another bird and I don't have the time lol
