How about this story..... Its true, a good friend and daughter experienced it, the same thing happened to several, totally unrelated families in the town and it actually made the papers bofore they found a 'solution' for it.

I visited an old xGF several years ago, she told a recent story about her daughter and that recently she had started talking to herself in her bedroom, but her daughter said she was just talking to the sailor. Days went by and this continued to go on, so the mum went in to her daughters room and she saw the sailor too, sitting at the end of the daughters bed. All white uniform, flat topped hat but his face had no features what so ever. my friend was very spooked by this...

A week or so later she called me back and read the local newspaper out to me, many families where reporting exactly the same occurrences!

It eventually came out that the local and ancient mansion was being worked on, this house was old it had a moat! Well, many years ago, sailing ship days, it was owned by the Liverpool shipping companies and was used for sick sailors to recover from illness's, so a lot of them must have died and where buried there. The work going on there had clearly awoken these souls from their long sleep......

Good interesting story. Goes to show it does happen.

That's something about what happened in your apartment. It's possible you've seen a ghost and didn't know it. At times they can appear just as real looking as any person.

yes, the totally mad thing is that a few weeks after the knife thing happened, I had a friend tell me he dreamt after it.....

It all just doesn't make sense to me, however, ive got or heard so many stories about it I simply cant discount it

I once was VERY upset with someone (with whom I shared a bedroom) and I woke up in the night and couldn't sleep because I wanted to talk to this person (we had a major fight). I tried coughing loudly etc lol but other than that I didn't do much---I just thought REALLY hard, "wake up" OVER and over--because I was ruminating obsessively--not because I thought I would wake this person up by willing it so (LOL), but because I REALLY was FURIOUS and i wanted to have a conversation! --I have never been so mad in my life as I was at this time.

Anyway, I saw this person turn off their alarm before bed- so I can verify that it was off, but after about an hour of me SCREAMING "wake up" in my head, their alarm went off and it scared the crap out of me..One of the creepiest things that I have ever experienced-- we were both VERY confused because there was NO reason for it to go off- and it was like 3:11 AM, which isn't even a normal time to set your alarm (and it showed that as the daily time for which it was set to go off, and I can tell you that the original setting had been 5:55AM and it hadn't been altered!). Again, it wasn't a human error, because I even checked it so that it wouldn't wake me up (2 of us verified that it was OFF before bed) ! EEK/LOL! NO CLUE what that was about...but it was spooky. It never happened again..

I've had other weird stuff happen, but that made me feel very uncomfortable, because, again, I KNEW that was what I wanted to happen, but I still have no idea how or why it did. Not a fan..not sure if someone was on my team or what, but it deeply disturbing lol.

I believe, without you being aware of it, you channeled your energy of your mind to cause that alarm to go off. The mind is very powerful. I can see how that would have been, as you say, spooky.

I have had so many odd experiences in my life to the point that I wasn’t allowed to talk about it. When I was talking to my family that’s a whole different story

It all started when I was like 6 I had a big family so me and my sister shared a room with my older sister I had to have the hall light on at night and the door had to open One night there was a man all in black in the doorway he was as tall as the door my 2 sister where sleeping scared the crap out of me the thing had no face it was like all black form of a man

Another time when I was about 21 we lived in a house that the room off the garage gave me the creeps the room was all stone the house was old Things used to fly off my dresser with So much force it would break

I believe you- never, *knock on wood* had anything quite like that dark figure happened, but our NEW house when I was a kid had all sorts of issues (experienced by ALL members, except, of course...my dad, who is Mr. Oblivious LOL)...Plenty of things flying around, voices etc..
I seriously seem to attract this stuff and it has decreased as I have gotten older, but when I was 6-21, crazy stuff happened a lot (and thankfully, others saw it too ha!)

Did you ever perform a house cleansing, or have you Ulla12? After my mother passed away at home many years ago, back in the mid 80s, I had a preacher come and bless the house. It was not really due to much going on, just mostly for peace of mind. However, I do remember when he was in the room where she passed he did seem to be a little more vocal.

Children at times seem to be more sensitive to spirits, and once a friend's daughter said she saw a woman with white hair going to sit down in an arm chair in my house, and that would have been my mother's spirit.

Spooky place thats for sure... While I was there something kept rubbing the back of my leg and when I kept turning around, nothing was there! We did a night tour there, through the old buildings etc. and while I was there we were in this spooky old room, and everyone was silent in the dark and I rested against this box and it moved and scared the hell out of everyone there! We couldn't stop laughing!

Once I had my old best mate, my Bearded Dragon named Billy came into a dream once... made me sob a bit when I woke up and kept wanting to have another dream about him, but alas those things are usually a once off kind of event

I first saw this on another forum about the paranormal. If you listen carefully, see if you hear a voice say "below him". I think I hear it not when he first sits down, but right before he lifts the weight.

That's VERY clear lol--to the point that I feel like someone just whispered it! lol
I didn't even have to listen twice or turn up my volume...it was pretty obvious. Dk---I'm a skeptic and a believer at the same time...Definitely believe in ghosts, just always wonder about videos.

Yes you can clearly hear a voice. The guy in this video thinks it said "below him". Not sure about the first word but the second does sound like the voice says "him". Sounds kind of creepy.
