I can never understand ultrasounds ... It almost looks as if you are expecting a parrot! Isn't that a beak and eye on the upper left?

Congratulationszszszszszszszszszszsz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant make much out either. It looks like a scuba diver with goggles .

I was unable to see anything in my own son's ultrasound. If the tech. had not pointed it out.

But my most heartfelt congratulations.

To me it looks like Roswell... Greetings earthling... You are a female of the species, is that correct?! :p

Congrats.

Yes I am the female lol.

And thank you all. I know this is a Parrot Forum but it's also my safe place lol.

I'll share an actual conversation that took place not that long ago.

My friend and I were on the phone discussing various aspects of pregnancy and parenting, when I just burst out "IM SO FREAKING EXCITED ABOUT THIS BABY!!" She said something like "I know you are" and then a pause and I awkwardly clarified... "um, I actually mean the baby bird in my hand... I'm excited about the human baby too... it's just... not the same..." she burst out laughing and told me she knew which baby I was talking about because she could tell from my tone of voice!

I'm pretty sure that's a butt and a leg lol. It's easier when they move; the circle on the right is the head, the circle on the left is the body lol.

Good news - they rarely bite as hard as bird babies [emoji23][emoji23]

Lol! But they also poop more, make more noise, are more expensive to care for, and no matter how much you want to you aren't allowed to lock them in cages!

All true. But they eventually take care of their own poop messes, can learn to make beautiful noise (mine is a really lovely singer and that's not just because I'm her mom), and move out! [emoji4] Plus they can learn to cook for you. I haven't found a single YouTube video that will help me reach Bumble THAT trick! [emoji23][emoji4]
