Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...Amy is not a real seed eater, which is just fine with me ;) She does however,LOVE her nummy bowl..its the first thing she waits for in the morning..and she'll eat just about anything that's in it.

Todays goodys were : sweet corn, sweet peas, carrot chunks <all warmed up of course> also included in the bowl of goodies were pineapple chunks,a couple slices of apple..a couple "herbs and cheese" crutons lol..5 or 6 nutraberries..a very small piece of monteray cheese...and a chicken leg bone, which was the very first thing see went for.
she eats quite well lol.

My DYH Amazon read this Thread before me and I been getting the: Do That - or else, evil eye!

Some Amazon have all the Luck!

Mine just threaten me with separation and a statement that he has already got a line on a new home to target! :D

Great bowl, well done! The nummy bowl bar has just be risen!

I'm intrigued, you said you gave her a chicken leg bone. How was that bone prepared and served? I'm thinking Venus and Buddy can get a benefit from how the bone is prepared and given to them. Thanks!

Chicken cooked to your liking, whether KFC, or your pot or oven, just as long as its cooked. Note: Commonly, upper/lower leg bones only.

Warning: Most Amazons love them and will clear a path across a table to get at them. Thanksgiving may blow their mines when they see a turkey leg bone. First timers; may require you to crack the leg bone open. After that, watch the fun!

I give all of my birds chicken leg bones, sometimes with some little scrap meat left on or whatever, definitely a favorite.

Yep...just as long as its thoroughly cooked..I usually give her the drum stick part..my grey would go bonkers over those! Literally tearing the bone from my hand..gimme gimme gimme!

Oddly enough tho..turkey legs were not a big hit with either of them
