It's Sunday - I go to Church. I go every Sunday and usually when I return both my dog and GCC are happy to see me.
Not today! The four legged bully is sulking in his bed with a doleful expression and the GCC has prepared to bite me each time I approach. Feathers fluffed up to double their size, beak open in preparation to remove his pound of flesh!
I can imagine the conversation they had in my absence and the plan for retribution at my daring to leave them yet again on Sunday morning. The fact that the one was taken for a walk and the other had plenty shoulder time before I left them with treats seems to have nothing to do with the treatment I am getting now.
2 steps forward and 1 step back = the GCC waltz. Back to basics again! The dance will never end.
