The green sir is currently molting, which means he’s enjoying his baths an extra lot lately. I was messing around with the “slow mo” setting on my camera and managed to capture him just blissfully bathing away. So cute!

That sucks it can’t be viewed by everyone It’s not even a long video, it’s like a 10 second clip. The slow motion captured him shaking his head while spreading his wings and you can just see water flying everywhere plus I *swear* he’s smiling THIS big

It’s the season for molting amazons (not sure about other species?). Kiwi is nearing the conclusion of the feather loss stage and will soon be entering the prickly cactus phase (with matching attitude towards life in general). We are, of course, not allowed to help with pin feathers either so he can be a real grouch. Extra baths for the next few weeks for sure!

Yes April...I have posted recently on how Beebs is a REAL PITA He's growling and bitey even with ME his favorite person :02: and I'm finding rudders and sleeves and underfluffies everywhere. Amy is missing so many rudders he has a hole the size of Texas. Never seen a molt so bad.
Couldn't view the Green Dino's vid Sounds like The Sir had a grand time.
