The cutest most spoilt cockatiel

Just trying to do some things on my computer, and I keep getting distracted by Rocky's cuteness

He is so cute! He is getting too spoilt because mummy can't say no to anything he does so he pretty much just gets his own way all the time!!

That's something you gotta watch for cause they catch on pretty quick and will try to run you over if you try to stop them. I have a couple boys that's like that. Get their way in their previous homes and they try to do the same to me.

Yeah he just doesn't listen to me because I'm too much of a pushover. His wings have grown back and I'm trying to teach him it's impolite to jump onto peoples heads! Do you think he will listen to me though? He's also VERY demanding when he wants something. If I can't have him on me and I put him down he'll just jump straight back up.
Oh dear just realised my zebra finch has escaped her cage and is flying loose around the house lol

The girls I have are very quiet and gentle not at all like Rocky haha

The finch has had her fly around, she flew back into the cage herself. What a good girl!

Mine is still a baby, only around 11 or 12 weeks old (I lost count). He's the cuddliest thing ever, and yes, if you don't cuddle with him, he gets mad. He loves to be on us, or eat with us, and just be social. They are little Cockatoos after all.

Haha it's cute when you think of them like little cockatoos. I often think they look like tiny galahs (albeit not pink and grey).

You have to enforce it now and they will learn quickly to back down but fly in the head part don't bother me too bad cause mine does it often. LoL

My tiel is turning into a Galah, because I kiss him so much, and I forget to take my lipstick off first. His head has pink on it. They remind me of Major Mitchell, or Galah toos quite a bit.

I love when they crawl under your neck and cuddle there. It melts your heart.

Haha yeah I kiss my birds too! On the beak! I love how their beaks smell like corn!

This is Lucy, one of my girls! I love it when she fluffs her feathers up around her face like this! She looks so cuddly! She loves tickles

He's so cute!!! Hubby has been repeatedly telling me lately that he wants a cockatiel, so I will most likely have a pair of cockatiels in the near future

Cockatiels are the most underrated, and wonderful birds. I highly recommend them.

Lucy is adorable too, she's the one you found, right?

I love Cockatoos, but I don't love all the noise, and all the work. Cockatiels can be just as loving, and you don't have that screaming and mess that comes with a large Cockatoo. They also have much more manageable "poos" and don't tend to destroy toys as fast. In other words, they're a lot less expensive to maintain as well IMO.

I hate when people say they're a "great first bird," because they're just great birds in general, and as cute as can be as well.

Maria I agree! You get all the fun of a cockatoo in a compact little package!
Yes that is the cockatiel I found. Rocky I hand raised myself and he thinks he's human! I also have a third one called Monica. I bought her from a breeder but she was parent raised. She's not as tame as the other two but I've got her to step up and sit on my shoulder etc...
GetWozzy you should definitely get a couple!
