Alaska hasent gotten to that point yet, there are a lot of bird keepers, but mostly poultry. Though sadily, being a shelter, noone brings their big birds to us unless they are already dead and they need to get rid of the body.
And thats kinda a pitty because we have connections, people who have been rescuing animals for years who work intandem with the shelter. The few birds we do get are small birds and usually I end up clipping toenails and feathers, and working on stepping up, (just really trying to interact with the poor bird) and trying to show people how friendly they are.
