PS Considering the fact that E&H can fly, their practical knowledge of the law of gravity is astoundingly limited, isn't it? Although I suppose that's balanced by their knowledge of the practice of servitude, as they know darn well I'm going to keep picking everything up for them...

You know, in all seriousness, that has never been a problem. I've conducted a couple of informal experiments on occasion, just to see if their internal clocks are really that reliable, and both E&H pretty much shut down around the same time. Normally, I'll put them to bed after a little cuddle time (I'm sure they'd prefer I just sit on the sofa while they slept on my chest all night). A couple of times, I haven't put them in myself, just to see what they'd do They just go to bed on their own, at the usual time.

I've just realized, it's kinda frightening to know that my caiques are more self-disciplined than I am...
