I've been so out of touch... Rudely and curiously, what's been happening?

Well, like you said in the "mental illness" thread, you have to be a little crazy to own a parrot...and those of us who are crazy, must stick together...plus, you and Salty are adorable...and provide good advice...and anything other than a happy reunion with the forum was a non-option!!! :)

Mr. Wrench, (Al, my Good Friend)

We mortals may only get one chance to see that our small daily efforts in doing it right affects the World around us! It is humbling and heart warming and I am so glad you have had this opportunity to see the Worldwide affect that you have caused by doing little more than simply being you!

One of our resident men of steel, Al recently suffered a heart attack.

Al, buddy, big love to you and your family

You're a beloved member of this community, Al. We couldn't be happier to have you back! How are you feeling, now?

Al, you are such a valued and well loved member here, we should be thanking you:)
So happy to have you back!

it's good to see you back among us Al! I'm trusting you're getting better day by day (save for the cabin fever probably setting in)

Hopefully you'll be back at 100% in no time

Well I am not 100% for sure, as I found out today, when we had new area rugs delivered and tried to lay them out. The hall way runner - no problm. The big 'area' rug is proving to be more of a PIA than the other one. Lifting sofa's and couches is out of my lauge, now, so I have t wait for my boys show up to helpcenter it. GGgggggrrrrrrr, not used to this.

Al. Ffs mate. Take it easy, your body needs r&r and lets face it your flooring can go to hell until you 100% again.. 1st world problems ;)

My recent surgery was NOTHING compared to what you’ve gone through, but I fully understand that helpless feeling. I’m pretty independent, and for the last six weeks I couldn’t even do my own laundry because I wasn’t allowed to bend. But follow doctor’s orders and let people help you. You’ll heal faster that way and be back to 100% before you know it. SO glad you’re back.
