Parrots
2 Greys, 2 Yellow Sided Conures, 1 Jardine's & 1 Lovebird.
I didn't dare to have one a year ago because I heard that it is so easy to have the feather plucking... I really don't want to have one without any feather. However, it is still my dream bird...

In Easter, finally, I couldn't help myself to get one when I saw a lovely Grey boy. And within a month, I got two Grey girls. Now, I have three active and lovely Greys at home.

Of course I'd bring them to the park when once I have free time. If not, they have mates to play with...

Mind telling me your stories?

Here's my story:

Since I was 10 years old I wanted a parrot. That was my biggest dream. My two older brothers had budgies and cockatiels when I was 5-7 years old, so I've lived with birds my whole life... almost. :p
My dad wouldn't get me a parrot at the age of 10 because he thought that the resposible was too big. I kept begging him but nothing helped, so my interest in parrots began to disappear. When I turned 15 my interest in parrots came again. My dad would get me one now, all I had to do was to find a good and loyal breeder, so I began researching and eventually I found a breeder that I could trust. I called him and he told me that I should come visit him and his birds. He had so many different birds. Some of them were: Military Macaws, B&G Macaws, Red fronted Macaws, Gold Parakeets (I don't know if they are called Gold Parakeets in English), African Greys, Keas etc... He had a 2 months old, almost fully weaned African Grey. She was so cute.. I waited about ½ month till she was fully weaned, and then I got her home. :) She hatched 18.01.2011, same month and day as me LOL. :D So today she's 5 month old. :grey: When she turns 1 year old, I turn 17. :)
