That is a precious photo! A B&G that wants to be a quaker, how sweet is that!

"One of these things is not like the others..."

LOL! Kyleigh just wants to hang out with the Quaker gang! She is so precious.

I can't believe how quickly she's growing, Stephen! That is one super adorable photo!!! :smile015:

Thanks all! All of these birds have been raised together over the last 7 weeks. Her best friend is the one that it looks like she is feeding. I couldn't tell because I wanted to get the picture lol. They are always together. I'm hoping to bring home a Quaker too lol

Sweet pics!

The Quaker it looks like she's feeding?!? It actually looks like she's about to gnaw on that Quaker's head! Hahaha! Wow that's a crazy size difference!

....and so it begins. MBS that is (multiple bird syndrome) :54: :D

It's already begun, Wendy! Don't forget he already picked up a second! The Quaker would be number 3!

Yes, he's definitely contracted the MBS! Hahaha!

What have we done? Poor Stephen, Get Well Soon!

Hmmm, I think they all fit! So would a Cockatoo, a Grey, an Amazon, an Eclectus, a Conure, etc etc!!

MBS is practically incurable, so submit and enjoy! Nice to see Kyleigh is well socialized with other parrots. See, it's meant to be!

Socializing large macaws around smaller birds (so they do not eat them) is kind of an important step in their development. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SMALLER BIRDS IN THE HOUSE YOU DON'T WANT TERRORIZED!

As for MBS... too late. He's already got it. Only time will tell how bad it is.

Only known cure is an overdose of bird poop cleaner over many years...

I thought I was cured, then came Kiwi... turns out it was just "in remission."

Other than being around so many birds lately..I think the exact moment I realized I was hooked was the day I grabbed Kyleigh from her original breeder. I was so naive and didnt know that people bred animals/birds simply for profit. I think my next bird will be a rescue macaw. Most likely a scarlet or GW. We have been blessed to convert an entire room into a bird room. Kyleigh's cage is massive and I've got room for another one once I am in a routine with Ky. It'll probably be down the road some..I was shocked by how many macaws were at the rescue.

Isn't it crazy how one bird turns into two and possibly more? Buddy we took in after his owners passed. Venus we purchased but she was a rehome. Both are awesome and of course I want more, lol! We are waiting, we want to get a house where we can make a bird room. Kyleigh is gorgeous and she looks just right. That is an awesome picture!

For me, it started with ONE little conure...

Got as high as 11, with around 350 more at the rescue, in my spare time... :D

That dwindled down to five. Now it's crept back up to six...

There's still time... you're a young man! Take the macaw and run before it's too late! :p

Good lord.....11 parrots. How do you keep up with 11 parrots? I picture myself going absolutely batty trying to keep up with cleaning and preparing fresh food...but I can see how it happens.

First 1....then 2. and if 2 isn't so bad, how will 3 be any worse....and so it goes
