Mara obviously has her heart set on this bird. I say get her, and work with her. I can't tell you how many so called horse trainers told me with my first horse that she would never be broke and to sell her to a rodeo! That horse never threw me off, and we worked through it and she was just wonderful. I could ride her anywhere and have deer jump up right under her nose, and she just stood there and watched them take off.
