Okay, so I just thought I should let everyone know that sweet potato doesn't seem to go over well with budgies. They seem to have some sort of sensitivity to the stuff, as Samantha, who's tough as nails, is projectile vomiting orange goo all over the aviary. Ju's also feeling nauseous, and some of the others look like they might be in pain. The first batch of birdie bread they ate without a problem, but it had organic yams in it instead of sweet potato because I couldn't get organic sweet potato. This batch, which they just started eating a little while ago, has organic sweet potato in it, and several of them are reacting poorly to it.
My parrotlet, Noah, is fine, so I think this is some sort of budgie sensitivity. I know babies eat sweet potato, but upon further investigation, a lot of babies are very sensitive to sweet potato and vomit from it.
