suspicious

We spoke on the phone all about mojo and the cage they made for him not long after they got him. I can't believe she just sold him like that :( did anyone report what she did here to the police?

She told me 550 and someone else she said 650, price might have gone up with all the replies. Have bird, will flip.

She says she found him a home. Said his name was Mojo. I was wanting to go visit Sunday. She said he was handleable and would wear a harness, if so i was going to pay what she was asking. But she found him a home. Funny,,,she never asked if i knew anything about birds. Got a feeling she found someone who would pay more.

Oh that just makes me sick to my stomach. So it was the same Mojo.
How sad after the lady gave him to her to take good care of. That poor woman and poor bird that she thought would be taken care of. I could just cry.

She is most likely a bird flipper.

I doubt seriously that she found him a home. It's very difficult to rehome birds especially macaws in this economy. I think it's more likely that she read this thread and is overly suspicious. I received two emails about the bird and she asked me what bird experience I had and what other birds I own. When I told her that I owned an African grey named Pepito and a Monk Parakeet named Puffers (These are the same birds that Sulphiria has and the same names of the two birds), she stopped responding to me.

Since you asked her if it was Mojo that she was selling, she back stroked because she realized you knew who she was and what she has done.

YES, some of the members who lost money filed reports with law enforcement.

Also, I finally have the contact information of the seller of the breeder birds in Mims Florida like Name & Phone Number. If someone is still concerned about the birds, they can PM me and I will give the contact information to them.

But to date, the birds are still available and I assume living in the same conditions.

I certainly hope they nail her. I wasn't involved in this but the people that were deserve to see her prosecuted. I hope they give this additional info to the police.

No she volunteered that his name was Mojo, i was pretty careful in my dealings with her, i really wanted to buy the bird.

I don't know who Lisa or Mojo are but when I clicked on the link to craigslist the ad has been removed....

"This posting has been deleted by it's author"...could be she's following this thread???

The link doesn't work for me either, just says add has been removed by author. I'm in Canada too, but I'm using a DELL lol

Of course she is reading this link and any link that would be about her. So if anyone has any messages for her this is the place to put it. Oh by the way, anyone is the world who has a computer can alse read these threads.

The grey in the photo, last picture, look like it has a broken wing feather.

yes she is reading this thread. She just emailed me , said she never asked about my bird experiences because she knew who i was. Said i could never have Mojo, Didn't know i was much a terrible person. Don't know why i'd be such a bad birdie parront. i was willing to forgive her ,just wanted to do the right thing by the bird, i could have appreciated that bird. For more than just a dollar and and a promise to some trusting soul. Good luck, Mojo
