Anyone going to this expo? A Helping Wing has a booth again this year and I'm hanging out there all day Saturday helping them. Bringing along Loki again and Monkey is going for the first time. We will see how she does with all the people! I think Loki might be a little too flighty right now but hopefully she remembers last year enough to do just as well as she did before:D

Oh and I just gave them both baths and grooming so they are so super happy right now....

I think they look just ecstatic about this.....

Thank you so much for mentioning this! I knew it was coming up but didn't realize it was this weekend. I'm packing up my son and heading over after lunch. Can't wait to meet your fids!

Haha if you came before now I missed you hopefully you met my two brats and they were good!

I think Monkey is tired! Still an hour or so to go.

We were there most of the afternoon. My kids had a great time holding some very well behaved birdies. My son got to hold the Rubalina macaw and now he wants a macaw - which he will not be getting! By the time my daughter worked up the nerve to hold one of the big guys we circled back to the table, but it was too late the big boys were getting tired and cranky so she couldn't. She smart enough to know that you don't mess with a cranky bird, so she held a sun conure instead. Is this your Loki?

You guys play with Gotham the red tailed black cockatoo?

We were admiring him, he's gorgeous. My Aidan would have walked away with that Rubalina if he thought he could get away with it, though. What was his/her name?

The expo was fun, my kids are so into animals that they loved it. When he came home my dogs went crazy sniffing us from all the smells. I was disappointed that there were no vendors selling bird supplies. I was hoping to score some more toys or toy making supplies and ideas. Are there any bird specific expos around?

I think there may be one in Lancaster but overall not really any Bird centered ones that I know of.

The macaws name is Seamus he is available for adoption.....:54:
