Sun Conure with Yellow Tips on the Feathers??????

My sun conure has a yellow tip on his flight feathers every time he molts. i read that it's fine and its a normal thing for sunnies. But what about yellow tip on the tail feather? my sun conure is actually growing a new tail feather and her tail seems to have this really bright yellow tip but then it's still a growing tail feather. Is this also normal or is something wrong?

You said he has a yellow tip on his flight feathers every time he molts, does he only get it while the feather is growing and then it disappears? If so that would be very unusual. I don't know about the tail feather because I don't have a sun conure.

no. I meant he gets a yellow tip every time he grows a new feather. It's just there.

Sometimes feather abnormalities can be the result of a less than perfect diet?

If you are feeding your Sun a good and healthy diet then you could mention it at the next AV check up?
