Sun Conure biting visitors

Hi all,
We have a 11 month old sun conure, Mango. He absolutely loves us, and he has never bitten us, however he doesn't like visitors. When someone unfamiliar comes to our house, he will puff up, sway around with his beak open and, if they reach out to touch him, he will bite them.
He is fine at other people's houses and quite happy to talk to anyone, but not in his own house. My Brother in law who looked after him for 3 weeks while we were overseas recently came over for dinner and got a nasty bite that he wasn't expecting, as Mango was very friendly over the 3 weeks.
Has anyone else had this problem and how can we get him to be more amicable with visitors??

just let him get use to the idea of visitors, and warn them he could bite them, so they do not touch him etc and keep there distance. at the end of the day these are strangers to him

he was good at your brother in laws house, simply as it wasn't what he considers his home

that swaying, means he, means business! so it can look cute to ppl, if you see him doing that reasure him his ok, an don't let the visitor mimic the sway and just make sure they keep there distance from him

nut on the other hand loves visitors especially the blonde ones! but even then she can be un sure
