UGH!!!

My mom is just horrible to me, the Pretty Chicken! I am such a good good good chicken, and she was so mean!

So first, before I even got to come out today, she was messing with those little chirping birds. They got to come out of THEIR house, got new toys, new perches, everything! All while I had to just sit and watch.

Then, finally, my door was opened. My mom said something about me not being able to get out earlier because my beak is the size of the little chirpers. So what?!?! If they don't leave me alone, is that really my fault?

So I climbed up to the top of my house to show her what I really thought.

I puffed up and hopped around to show her my displeasure. Then, when she started to mess with my stuff, I had to get in her face.

I mean, I knew it was coming, but really! She took all of my toys and everything! She even found the piece of mango I managed to stick under my bottom tray, from inside my cage, I'm magic. Like, hello, I pooped on that perch for a reason! That's okay, since she said last night that she was going to do this today, I pooped on my own back too, so I had to have a shower. Let her figure that one out. Ha ha! I'm ready!

You do not move quick enough, Mom! You will pay!

That's better! Now I'm a clean chicken!

I guess I'll forgive her, in a while anyway. I did get new toys, and clean perches, and I even got my boing back! Plus a nice shower. Eh, I guess Mom is alright.

Aria, I'm excited to know that you are a great writer as well as beautiful.
I almost spit my coffee about the mango, this is great stuff:)

Love your photos Aria you certainly are showing off your Beautiful colourful and very pretty personality both in word and action. I bet you love your new toys and Im glad to see you have forgiven your mom hee hee :) Gorgeous pics :)

Aria, you are a gorgeous little chicken! Your wonderful mom is just trying to take care of you, try to be patient, your mom is only human after all. We have to respect the little chirpers too.

How dare she steal your carefully hidden mango:mad:? And to take care of those little birds first too?! The outrage! You deserved a shower AND treats for that disrespect for the pretty queen chicken:D

I'm such a good good chicken. And my mom is such a sucker!

She went to go get something for $2 at the grocery store, which happens to be rather close to the pet store. Needless to say, I got new toys. I even got a nice new perch for my travel cage. When the other lady gets home, I think my mom is going to get yelled at. It happens a lot, something about too many toys and not enough groceries, and someone named Bill seems to get brought up...

Anyways, one is something that just looks like it's going to be fun to destroy, but she won't give that to me yet.

The other is this clear plastic contraption. I watched her put an almond in it, and then she moved some stuff and the almond came out. I even got to eat it! I got so excited when I saw another almond go in. Then she just hung it up in my house, but the almond is still stuck inside it. I looked at it for a while, and I got so mad! I had to go chew on something else till it broke. I think I am going to lose my patience trying to get the tasty almond out of this thing, and when mom isn't looking, I'm just going to take it apart.

Hahaha! Loving the stories of Aria's adventures! She's such a beauty!

This is truly amazing. And she is beautiful!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH, this is too clever!!!!

Can the Rickeybird play, please?

"Dear Aria... give a human an inch and they'll take a yard. You stay strong! I go through disgrace every day with my hen. I love her, yes, but she's as big as a hat stand, can't grow even one feather, has never laid one egg despite my admirable masculine attention! You'd think she'd be grateful, but NOOOOOO! She locks me up sometimes and goes off with this person who lives with us, named hubby or sweetheart or dh, sometimes. I swear they have something going on, but I can't prove it! Anyway, you hang (or perch) in there, Aria. Sincerely, (the) Rickeybird"

Dear Rickeybird,

I know what you mean. There is this lady that always seems to get my mom's attention. My mom talks to her instead of me sometimes! It's an outrage! Then, when I try to bite her to get her away, my mom tells me I'm a naughty chicken. I just don't get it. One of these days, I'm gonna eat her when mom isn't home.

Thanks for the support,

The Pretty Chicken

Dear PC,
I have another rival, too. It's a little thing, skinny, and my hen holds it in her hand and cuddles it, just like she does with me! Right in front of me! Plays with it, talks to it, seems to take it with her everywhere, hides it in her pocket! And it's a plan black color, not at all as beautiful as you and I are (especially YOU! *wink*). One of these days I'll get hold of it and bite it into a million pieces. Oh, and she calls it "Fone".
Grrrrrrrr.

Dear Aria, I'll tell you a little secret....chew up all your toys to little bits in your cage and your mama will race out and buy you new ones. Yeah! And if you do it quickly you can see her run around in a panic and race to the pet store like ASAP. It's a lot of fun! Hee Hee! I've had my little claw wrapped around my mama's finger for 16 years so I know how to work it! ;) Love your story!
