I've been working with Con and her Aviator Harness recently since my dad has built us a T-Stand. A few days passed with no headway until out of the blue Con stopped fighting me and let me slip the collar over her head. Usually, at this point, she squabbles at me and tries to flee but she sat still. I quickly put one wing in then the other and still no resistance so I tightened the belt.
By this time, she was looking a bit fidgety to I grabbed her and went out the front door. We walked around the cabin twice before she'd had enough and I took her in and removed the harness. I was soooo proud of her!!! We haven't tried it again because I've been busy but it makes me happy to know I should be able to take her out with me on walks soon once she's comfortable with the harness.
Also, 6 days until I get my Sun!!! SUPER EXCITED!!!! I've gotten everything ready for him to come home and just can't wait. Poor Con has no idea she's getting a sibling soon My dad is excited as well and keeps sighing and saying he can't forgive me for infecting him with the bird bug.
