Strange bathroom habit

I have a 3 month old pinapple GCC that has a really weird bathroom habit: everytime he's out of the cage and he has to "go", he'll fly over to my hubby. Once he's gone on him, he'll go back to doing whatever it was before. We've tried having him out only for short periods, but he fights us and goes on him. We've tried waiting for him to go before letting him out, but he still gets something out. Our 4 month old GCC doesn't do this.

It's at the point now where the poor hubby keeps tissues with him to catch it.

Is there a way to train him to go elsewhere, or should I install a tissue holder next to his chair? Please tell me that it's a friendly thing at least since this is supposed to be "his" bird lol

I'm not an expert on bird poop habits, but I've noticed a lot of times birds will poop when they feel comfortable. I don't know about that though.

lol i don't think is un freindly, as nut poops on me when she is relaxed or i've left her on too long

place tissue by hubs lol or an old towel on shoulder lol

like you i've tried the back to cage etc, nut use to go back to her cage, and still does, if she remembers or can be bothered to

There are different training tech you can use to teach the bird to go elsewhere. Princess is almost the opposite, she refuses to go on a person. In fact she is potty trained (she came to me this way so I'm not sure how her previous owners taught her to become potty trained). If shes on my arm and I stick my arm away from me outside and tell her to go potty she will go. She doesn't like to go in her cage either if she can help it. If shes on us and she has to go she will get very fidgety and continuously lift her foot until we take her to go.

I just got my 3 month old Sun Conure. Her potty training is going pretty well. As soon as she comes out of her cage, she seems to have to go, so I continuously say "potty" for association. Then when she goes, I praise her and give her a treat. I've only had her for two weeks, but she's really catching on fast.

We have a pineapple greencheek. She is four months. She doesn't never poops on people!! Lucky for me as I hold her the most.
My real question for the experienced is "how do you potty train"?
I would really appreciate your help
