stock up on toy this easter season !

just wanted to remind everyone what a great time of year Easter is for Bird toys LOL if you goes to the dollar store at the start of easter season there is sooooo many cool little things for your birds. paper eggs you can hide thing inside. paper easter baskets, you can fill for your birds. I love to make a easter egg hunt for the little guys, so much fun. a great time to get forgeing paper aswell cause you can get the all natural shredded paper. Best of all its so cheap !

At most dollar stores you can find foam alphabet puzzle type toy where the letters pop out. Ivory is a foam fanatic, so picked one of these up for her. We also get plain white crepe paper rolls and hang them with jute or on a stainless steel veggie hanger. We don't get the colored papers just to be safe, but the white is dye free. Also paper cups - Victoria made a cool toy for Folger, she put shredded paper in the cup and poked holes in it and stuck qtips thru the holes, she put some puzzle pieces in the cup too and then wrapped the top with crepe paper. Folger had his entire head stuck in the cup to see what else he could pull out.

We also found uncoated bamboo baskets at the dollar store. I grabbed a larger one for Ivory. And another surprise find was the chinese paper finger trap toys that you can buy stuffed with shredded paper... found those too, only had 1 pack tho, but will keep looking when we go back!
