Stitch the Blue Crown Conure
Stitch continues on his journey of adjustment! Being home with him all weekend is a good thing. I've been learning my boundaries and have managed to keep myself from being bitten for a few days; I let him gently touch my hand with his beak and feed him a lot of fruits that he can nibble at while I'm holding it, like apple and banana. I've managed to give him a few head scratches, albeit little ones. My husband can handle him fairly reliably.

I ordered a little table top stand and some clickers to start target training him, as I think this could really work to speed the trust-building process with him.

He is beautiful and sounds like your off to a great start :)

He is so gorgeous! I'm glad to hear he's adjusting well.

What a pretty baby!!!!

Nice looking blue crown! They always seem to have a look in their eyes like they are secretly amused about something. My Rosa gives me that little smirk just about every time she looks at me.

When he's happy does he open and shut his beak a few times like he is silently laughing? Briana used to do that.

He does a lot of actual "laughing" along with a head bob-- it's very charming. He also "whispers" and makes little kissy-whispery noises when you do it to him. And update on the update, as of this evening after I for home he's letting me pet and scratch him much more <3<3

What a beautiful bird!
