Still hungry???

I got Cali a week ago Wed. She is now about 7 weeks old. They told me she was fully weaned, told me she was on "Sunscription Vita Prima" and a 10 minute soak, so I bought them and have been feeding her them and mixed just a few pellets in with the Vita prima, just as they had been doing. She was doing really good so I introduced a few veggies on Sun. she seemed to like them a lot.
Then on Monday afternoon, she started squaking and flapping as though she was hungry, so I called the lady I bought her from, told her that she is eating but acting like she is still hungry and the response I got was "I don't know what to tell you, if she is eating she wont be hungry It cant be both". UGGGGG
So I went and bought some formula and gave her some because I didn't want her to go hungry. The next night she didn't act like she was hungry so I didn't give her the formula but last night she did it again.
Should I continue to feed her formula when she does this?
And her crop has not been totally full but not empty either.
Please help??????

Rather than feeding her formula, you can take some soft veggies and fruits, or steam up some veggies until soft (carrots and sweet potatos are GREAT!), maybe mix in some organic nut butter (almond?), maybe even some baby food and feed that warm.

It doesn't have to be formula, it just might need to be warm mushy food so your conure feels comforted. This is known as regression and a lot of birds do it....

Thanks for the advice. That's the funny thing about it, she had soft (smashed)veggies and fruit, and she was eating them. But on a better note, she isn't acting like she is hungry any more, and is eating her pellets, seeds and cooked and fresh veggies and fruit. She sends to be doing great now.

Some times baby will still beg and do the baby screeching acting like they're hungry and do the head bobbing thing even when they're eating on their own. Like Monica suggests by feeding comfort food will definitely help in the situation. But I'm glad your baby is through that stage.
