I did not know where to post this but I wanted to share with you that I caught Sterrietjie bathing! She is so funny, I gave her a new big but shallow dish with luke-warm water to bath in but she chose to bath in her water dish! I am so glad that she did it before we went to work so that I could take her first bathing pictures.:D

Here is her cage with her 'tree', I think I am finished with her set-up now.

And just a nice photo of her.

That sure was a fabulous bath Sterrietjie had AND she enjoyed thoroughly.
She sure made the most of it.
Thanks for sharing :D

Hey Wildheart, Im so glad you got to see her bathing! Hope the water drinking is improving? The play tree outside is divine - did you buy it or make it?

What cool pics. I love the parrot tree. Did you make it? Yellow bird is so cute when wet. Thanks for the photos, made me smile for sure.

I saw the hooks you use on the side of your food bowl - real nifty, going to use that to secure his veg/fruit bowl, awesome idea!!! Am so happy that Sterretjie is coming into her own and settling - Im so relieved for you, your an amazing mom to her and she is so lucky that you found her :)

Hi, sorry I've been absent for so long!

Thanks for all the nice words, you make me smile.

Nope, we did not make the tree, I went surging for it at different pet shops that have aviaries. Found it at Boksburg - Pet Masters. My iguana loves it too, we had to close the passage off so that he cant go to the lounge when we are not home!

Sterretjie has really turned out to be a real pleasure and always seeking attention. I adore her.:D

I love the tree, they must have hours of enjoyment on it.
Heard of Pet Masters in Boksburg, will be going there shortly.
We can never spoil our birds to much LoL
