Staying busy

Since I lost Jess I've become busy in sewing projects, almost finished reupholstering my tired old sofa in a pretty southwestern print, going to get a Brother machine I saw at Walmart and do some more stuff. Doesn't help the nighttime when the moonlight is streaming down and somehow that makes it all worse. I'm trusting time to bring back all the funny, happy times, the whistling duets and all the rest. Hope all of you will do the same.

I am glad you are finding therapeutic activities while you grieve.

We are all different, but one thing I cannot do for a long while after losing a bird is viewing images or video. It is a sign of progress for me when I can begin reminiscing.

It is a slow, hard progression! A bruised spirit is much like any physical injury! I am hurting for your tragic loss!

Great big cyber-hugs to you.
You hang in there.
Time *WILL* help. I like the expression "May the joy of having had Jess in your life soon outweigh the sadness of the loss".
What a great love you two had, and still have, in eternity.

Scott, I know I was putting a video up on facebook and then came up a video of Jess
just sitting all pretty listening to a Mozart flute concerto. One day you will look at your videos and laugh and smile.

FlBoy and GaleriaGila thank you for your kind words. That message really helped me honestly.
