Tonight, there was a live concert on TV on several channels called "Stand Up to Cancer." It was aired in the US, and I'm pretty sure all over the world. Hopefully some of you saw it. It was very emotional and I cried.
I lost my aunt to breast cancer a few years ago. My grandmother fought breast cancer and survived. My best friend's mother is currently fighting lung cancer. And another friend of mine fought brain cancer and survived.
1 out of 2 men and 1 out of 3 women are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. And, every 80 seconds, a person dies from cancer.
Please, if you can, honor those fighting, survived, and died from this horrible disease by donating to help fund research at: https://www.standup2cancer.org/?c=donate&su2ccs=PRUPTO2009-8372
Thank you and bless you all
