Larry is a normal Green Cheek Conure.
Larry is wonderful.
Larry is spoiled rotten.
Larry has 3 cages as well as access to our large family room most of the day.
Home Living Cage:
30"H x 24"W x 22"D
Inside the cage are some assorted hanging toys, swing, 4 perches of different lengths and diameters, a tent, ladder, cuttlebone and 3 cups for food and water.
There is a small birdbath attached inside near the top of the cage. This bath can be moved to the outside of the cage as well when desired. There is plenty of room for Larry to 'stretch his wings' on two perches, one placed higher than the other, and he has the bottom of the cage where there is nothing.
This is a wonderful powder coated heavy wrought-iron cage with a top that opens for interactive play, he loves it. It is on casters, has a large front door, easy access food & water doors, easy access tray for cleaning, removable seed guard which surrounds the cage and a storage shelf underneath the cage.
I have added ropes, a play tree w/ treat cups, perches, ladder, straw toy, all on the top of the cage. He is so funny to watch dancing and playing up there.
The cage is made by Marvelous pet supplies. I believe it is the Chateau model.
I've seen other members on this forum with this same cage which is how I came to acquire it. I paid $150.00 for the cage on sale, new.
Additional Daytime Play Cage & Bath:
15"H x 24"W x 16 1/2"D
This cage hangs on a stand which I can move around the house or outside on the patio. It has a couple of toys, swing, perches, food&water cups. If you look close you can see I have put a large baked ceramic saucer inside which he loves to use for his bath.
Larry is much cleaner than me He sometimes takes 3 baths per day, plus he loves going into the shower with me occasionally.
His cages are left open during the days and nights when I am home to supervise his KraZy AnTics.
Transport Cage:
17"H x 13"W x 12 1/2"D
For short trips like to the vet.
There is one perch, centered. 2 cups for food & water.
I think I have covered everything. Thanks for reading
