American Bulldog Mix,
Looking for southern Maryland parrot owners. I was looking to start a meeting for any southern maryland parrot owners with any healthy parrots (no diseases, tested) to get together in person with our birds (weather permitting) to help socialize them!

There are a lot of people from Maryland on here, and I thought I read of a parrot club they belong to. Hopefully they will come on and see this thread, but you might ask Triordan and I think maybe JJones is one I've seen mentioned as belonging to it.

Lol finding people within an hour of you that own birds is hard

One time, Coriander went missing, and I went around the whole neighbourhood knocking on every single door, and it surprised me how many people were parronts.

I'm in Baltimore and yes there is a local club, Baltimore Bird Fanciers, we meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month at the Towson Library

Marawentz, Hello, My name is Joe and live in Harford CO MD. I belong to the Baltimore Bird Fanciers here in MD. You can check out our Website at www.baltimorebirdfanciers.com We meet every 3rd Sunday at the Towson Library from 2:00pm to 4:00pm bottom floor. All Members bring their birds to socialize them. We normally have a guest speaker. Our Club also holds Bird Mart and Bird Shows. The cost to join our club is $20.00 per year. This includes all meetings, Bird Mart and show admissions. We even have stands where we go out into the public like the Timonium pet expo in January, the dog walk in September in Cockysville. Best of luck to you and hope to meet you. joe

Am I the only one that finds it a bit funny that parrot people are meeting in a library? :52:

Icywolf, We meet at the Library in a wing seperate from the Library, the Library is on the 2nd floor while they have rooms to rent on the lower level and we are behind closed doors.
Although it would really be funny to take all our birds upstairs once while everyone was reading and our birds did their morning screams. just kidding. Joe
