sometimes life sucks

looks like we are not getting our baby Eclectus , I have to call the breeder wednesday and let her know , we are moveing and where we are moveing to only allows 2 birds or 1 cat and no dogs , its a nice place but not fond of their rules on pets also I'am talking to a freind at work about takeing Brandi ,if not I will have to rehome her I'am pretty sure my freind at work will take her , there is now way I would ever give up my Rocky or Opey , just sad about the move

there isn't to many apartments around here that don't have restrictions on pets and yes we are staying in Michigan , we are not rehomeing a eclectus , she is staying with the breeder , I never brought her home yet and my friend at work is takeing Brandi , she has a beautiful home with lots of room for Brandi and I can come visit her any time
I talked to the breeder today and she was thinking of keeping Candy if possible and she was going to offer me a male Eckie but it would be a long time from now , so I guess things did sort of work out , at least I will knowBrandi is in good hands and has a good home
so now it's just me , hubby and my two boys

o and the breeder is going to send me my deposit back which I thought was really nice of her , now I have a cage for sale that I was going to usefor Candy , anyone want to buy a cage?

That is sad to hear. I did the renting thing and am glad I had finally found a house. I lived in an apartment complex. Most rentals were I live have a no pet policy. Though one landlord said I could have a bird. But I decided to wait when I could have all the pets I wanted. I am surprised they allowed a cat. Unless fixed when young cats will spray and if not fixed early enough may continue anyways. Do not get me wrong I like cats but most people never been in a house and smelled the inside of a house where a cat sprays everywhere. I know dogs have a reputation of being dirtier but I think small dogs are not that bad and most dogs especialy big ones would hate to be inside all day and perfer the outdoors. If you lived in the same sate as me I probably would be interested in your cage since it would probably be the right size fo a mini macaw.

I am so sorry to hear your sad news RockysMom. My heart goes out to you. Our feathered/fur children ARE our children and it hurts when we have to leave them behind. I'm glad you found a good person to take on your Brandi...
