Some of my 'flock'

Please don't feel silly sharing your photos. You work with such unusual parrots and birds many of us have never seen:) I *LOVE* the falcon taking a bath! He's looking at you like you're invading his privacy. The bird of paradise is stunning too and the RTB looks like a bundle of feathery trouble;) Does the zoo have a breeding program then (the baby birds)? You must have the best job in the world working with all these amazing birds. Do you do exclusively birds or any other animals?

I'll share one (but don't show this guy to your pasquets parrot!). I kind of have a "soft spot" for parrots that look like vultures... Barney isn't a rare species, but he has some genetic problems that certainly make him a rare parrot:D

Julie, you know you must produce those photos now, don't you? :) And then we'll want to hear their stories.

LOL Allee :) Since moving, I don't even know where certain pens are, let alone photos and flashdrives! :49: Then I have paper photos of my very first birds (Gouldian Finches and mutations) that I have no idea how to post except to take a bad quality picture of the pic with my phone! I still haven't found my digital camera. I haven't used it in years. I'll see what I can do...

I love vultures, so I'm all for naked headed birds. Thanks for sharing your stunning photos!

He sure is unusual looking! Do you know what the genetic mutation is?

These photos aren't all from one place, there are photos here from my first job in a bird boarding facility, some from Qatar, South Africa and my current job working with birds of prey in Australia :)
