Hi all! I am loving this forum and my Green Cheek and I are really getting close. He loves being around me. I leave him in his cage for a good time of the day while I'm here though as to not turn him into a spoiled little brat, but we do have a few hours everyday of quality time. He will even fly after me, or try to, when I walk out of the room. So cute.
Anyways, he has mastered the step ups and downs. What are some simple tricks I can start teaching? Also, I know GCC are not known for talking but they can learn to say a few words and mimic sounds. What is the best way for this? I constantly repeat Hi Tango(his name) over and over and over again and when I do this he will make a quiet, squeaky noise almost like two syllables that ALMOST sounds like he is trying to say Tango. But I might just be hopeful thinking. What are some fun sounds you taught your conure?
