I just had to share how happy Screamer is when she gets sprayed with water. My conures HATE being sprayed, and it's just so much fun to watch Screamer enjoy it. She would never be finished with a bath if she had a choice - good thing the spray bottle isn't very big and eventually runs out of water

They enjoy it so much - you just have to smile watching them . My conures have fun in the water, but they are bowl bathers and it’s just not the same!

That is too cute. The pics really capture her enjoyable bath time. Baby doesn't like taking baths, I just spray him enough to get wet. He likes ''air bathing'' when my A/C is on though. If only he could do that with water.

Nothing beats a happy cockatiel that somehow manages to contort his or her body in ways you never thought possible!


I recall once where I was vacuuming up the bird room and Casey, my tiel, decided it would be a great time to take a bath! The vacuum was really getting her in the mood! So she took her dip and splashes in the water dish!

I turn off the vacuum and then Charlie, my conure, decides it is his turn! So of course he starts taking his own bath in the water dish. I turn the vacuum on, and he stops bathing. I turn it back off, he starts bathing again. Guess he didn't get the memo that "rain" equals bath time! LOL

(a vacuum may have a similar effect in the atmosphere as a storm does)

Gosh Berry is the exact opposite! She HATES the spray bottle haha. [emoji23] even when she takes baths she just kind of sits in the water not doing much. [emoji23]

I haven’t yet seen Screamer try to sit in water or bath in her bowl, maybe in the summer when it gets hot

SOOOOOO cute!!! Yoda also hates spray bottles with a passion. But he gets SO happy and so cute when he bathes in a bowl or cup.
