so happy today

so i finally managed to take my kitten Meow for her first shot today, and also
Cloud for a checkup and some nail/wing clipping.. then i noticed that the vet
shop has stocked up on friggin harrison's!!!!!!! as soon as i saw those huge
and lovely bags, i was grinning like crazy. anyway, everything went well, both
Meow and Cloud are doing great. i decided to get a large adult lifetime bag
for Klaus as well but was sort of worried about getting him into it since when
i tried that from animalzone pellets to zupreem, it took a while. imagine my
reaction when he stole a huge piece off my hand and started chowing down on
it like a maniac as soon as i opened the bag up. he's taking them in exactly
like how he takes his favorite treats off my hands or how he runs up to them
in his cup. made me so happy.

oh and also, i just got Meow into dry food (biscuits), which she's never tried
before, so that's good too. i still need to get around posting pics of her here. ;p

oh and those who don't know; good bird food is hard to come by here. i could barely get
my hands on zupreem pellets. now harrison's is available and i'm ecstatic!

Joey , what else do you feed your kitty ? I'm just curious because if you feed canned food as well as dry , it's a better diet for them.
Cats that eat only dry food have been found to not have sufficient water intake and can suffer from related problems to this later on in life.
Some vets said that dry was better , but it has been found that cats were healthier when fed a canned diet along with dry. Can food is 80% water , that amount is great for cats who don't normally drink enough. Keeps the from having urinary problems etc....

yeah i'm aware of all that. it's just coz i've had her since she was 5 weeks old and still
couldn't eat dry food. she's all grown up now, so the dry food will help reduce the mess
from canned food. after every feed, her whole face and neck are wet from the food (she's
a persian) and i don't like it when she needs to get washed up since she starts to smell.
i just want her to start eating properly to avoid that. i'll still feed her canned food every
now and then but for now i'm sticking to dry food.

Ohhh Persians are such gorgeous creatures !We had a Persian in one of the offices I worked at , cleaning that cats face was not a easy chore and we had to do it daily , so I hear ya ,lolol. This cat was given Metacam , which smells like , well , let's say really dirty diapers , lol. it always dribbled down her neck , lol. And she would only eat really stinky fish cat food because she was so old her sense of smell was going.
I will leave you imagining that aroma , lol.
