We recently welcomed 2 new additions to our flock, and I am so thrilled!
Please meet our new pair of Blue Throated Conures, Psyche and Eros.
Psyche is pretty tame and will step up, Eros will need a little work. He will allow scritches but doesn't like to step up at all.
Their tail feathers are broken from the cage they were in before, and I can't wait until they moult.
Now for the pictures!

The first 2 are Psyche, the last is Eros.I'll try to get some good pictures of their bellies, as they look like they have hearts there:)

Lovely birds, absolutely beautiful you must so pleased?

How many birds do you have in your flock? I'd love to hear more!

Congrats on your beautiful new babies! They are super cute. I don't think I have seen this kind of conure before. Kind of look like miniature festive amazons, the way their coloring is.

OMG Terry 79 birds, how do you get past the cage cleaning most days? :)

Love to see some up to date pics of your flock. :)

It is a full time job for sure. We do the major cleaning on Sundays when Hubby is home, and I get started at 5AM each morning with the feed and cleaning that is done daily.
I will have Reg (my Hubby) take some up to date pics of everyone. I put my camera away in a safe place several months ago and apparently it is safe from me finding it as well!
Masuka (Laughing Thrush) is quite cool. Here is a link to the thread the night we got her:)

Thank you, Allee! I am in love with these guys:)

GASP! I'm speechless! I swear, Terry, I had never heard of them before, and I'm completely in awe at how truly GORGEOUS they are!! :11: SWOOOOON!

You have to be over the moon! :D Welcome home Psyche and Eros! (COOL names, too)

And April is right, they DO remind me of the Festive Amazon (in a conure body) HAHAHAH!!!

Also looking forward to more updates of your flock, especially my favorite insect eating guy. :D

Congrats Terry!

I particularly like the red patch on the upper right wing. Peaches had a white patch on the back of her neck. It's the little things that you notice most of all.

They sure are pretty! Look at those colors!

More pics please? always more pics...and updates. I never knew you had so many birds! WOW! MBS much? LOL

Congrats! Beautiful! I wonder if they are the same two that I saw at a local pet shop (I live right by you)?? I saw two blue throated conures about 2 months ago and they were so sweet. A bit shy, but so sweet. I have a video of them enjoying scratches from me:) So exciting to add new flock members! I only have one so I don't know that feeling...yet ;)

Those two were such a great find Terry :)! Bonded but people friendly too, what more can you ask for, that's awesome. Psyche and Eros are a beautiful couple! Congrats again my friend.

Wow Terry!! They are absolutely gorgeous!! Congrats on you new additions! You have some flock! I didn't realize you had that many birds! How cool! :D
