Rest in Peace Rio
Waaaaay off topic, but pretty exciting so I thought I would share. We were lucky to be able to buy a used (but still decent condition) snow thrower from a friend a couple days ago for only $50! :) Wooohoo! No more helping shovel for me!! And from what I hear in the weather forcast, just in time too!

Oh my gosh! You are so lucky! We've been very fortunate not get much snow yet this year (of course I think snow lovers wouldn't agree it's fortunate). When it dumps & you know you gotta bust out shovels it's a DRAG!

Let it snow, let it snow. Now I wish there was a quick way to get snow off the car.

I've often thought snow wouldn't be so bad if it conveniently only fell on grass! Not on cars, driveways, roads, sidewalks, powerlines, the roof, etc. Is that asking for so much?! LOL

As for snow on the car, we are lucky to have a carport when we bought our home. But when we are at work we bought one of those windshield cover things. It attaches to the side mirrors and works great! When we leave work we just pull it off and the snow on the windshield comes off with it! One of the best $15 I ever spent! :)

There is a quick way to get snow off the car. That's called a leaf blower! Yes, it has other uses. It won't help you with ice though, lol!

Congrats on the snow blower. It was a very good buy!
